Prof. Dr. Zhikui Chen is a professor of Dalian University of Technology. He is also the director
of institute of network communication and database, director of joint research institute of Dalian
university of technology and Going.com of Tokyo. From 2001.7 to 2007.10, he is a researcher of
Stuttgart university of Germany on system communication for EU IST 5th and 6th framework
projects in B3G or 4G. From 1999.11 to 2001.6, postdoctoral research in IRISA of France for joint
source and channel coding for picture and video. 1998.10 to 1999.4, postdoctoral research in
computer science department of Hongkong Baptist university for image processing. 1998.6, Ph.D
in Chongqing university on signal processing. 1993.6, Mater degree in Chongqing university on
composite material mechanics. 1990.6, Bachelor degree in in Chongqing normal university for
mathematics.
